I love my mother language

མཁའ་འགྲོ་སྐྱིད། དམའ་གསུམ་ལྔ་པ།

Since I was born I have begun to have a proud name—Kan Zhuo ji. This is my Tibetan name. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful word I heard is—Tibetan.

We know China is a great country and we have fifty-six Ethnic Groups. Tibetans are one of them. We live on top of the world. We have a long history and rich culture. We have a great tradition that we always protect the environment. We also have a beautiful language. We have nice people, beautiful land, great culture, and customers. We are proud of our language.

The great scholar said, “To learn many languages is great but if you lose your mother language， that is shame， that is really terrible”. So we have to learn Chinese well because it is our national language. Besides, we have to learn English because it is an international language. And most importantly, we must learn Tibetan because it is our mother language.

So we are special because we can speak three different languages. We are smart、 we are hard-working. I believe we can do many things.

I love my mother language.
